• Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene Prices Down by Rs 10 Per Liter


    19 Jestha 2079, Thursday Kathmandu. Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the prices of petrol diesel and kerosene. The corporation has reduced the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene by Rs 10 per liter with effect from 12 noon on Thursday.

    According to the letter sent to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply to adjust the price, the meeting of the Board of Directors of the corporation has reduced the price. In addition, the price of petrol will now be Rs 170 per liter.

    Earlier, the price of petrol was fixed at Rs 180. Similarly, the price of diesel and kerosene has come down to Rs 153 per liter.

    A statement issued by the corporation said, “As per the decision of the corporation’s board of directors, the previous retail selling price of petrol, diesel and kerosene has been reduced by Rs. 10 / – per liter with effect from 12:00 pm today. The selling price (up to 15 km from the corporation’s depot premises across the country) has been fixed at Rs. 170 / – per liter, Rs. 153 / – and Rs. 153 / – per liter respectively.

    Even though the prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene have been reduced, the retail prices of aviation fuel (internal and external) and LP gas have remained the same.
